Dark Illumination is a German electro-industrial music band formed in the early 2000s. The band is known for its dark, atmospheric sound and powerful live performances.

The band was formed by musician and producer Alexander Wieser, who began experimenting with electronic music in the late 1990s. He was soon joined by vocalist and lyricist Andreas Gross, and together they began to develop the sound that would become Dark Illumination.

The band's debut album, "The Darkest Hour," was released in 2004 and received critical acclaim for its brooding soundscapes and intense, emotional lyrics. Today, Dark Illumination continues to be active in the music scene and has released several albums and toured extensively in Europe. Their music continues to be influential in the electro-industrial scene, and they remain a beloved act among fans of the genre.
