Biography

The band's original lineup consisted of Daniel Bressanutti, Dirk Bergen, Patrick Codenys, and Richard Jonckheere.

Front 242 released their first single, "Principles," in 1981, and their debut album, "Geography," in 1982. The band quickly gained a following in the underground electronic music scene, and in 1983 they released the albums "No Comment" and "Live Target." In 1984, they released their breakthrough album, "Official Version," which featured the hit single "Headhunter."
