Nitzer Ebb is an English electronic body music group formed in 1982 by Douglas McCarthy, Bon Harris, and David Gooday. The band's early work was characterized by a fusion of electronic music, industrial, and EBM (Electronic Body Music) elements. They released their debut album, "That Total Age" in 1987, which was followed by the critically acclaimed "Belief" in 1989, and "Ebbhead" in 1991.

Throughout the 80s and early 90s, Nitzer Ebb was at the forefront of the EBM scene, influencing a generation of musicians and helping to establish the genre. Their live performances were known for their use of elaborate stage shows, aggressive rhythms, and political lyrics.

In the late 90s, the band took a hiatus to focus on solo projects, but reformed in 2007 and released the album "Industrial Complex" in 2010. Nitzer Ebb's style evolved over the years, incorporating elements of industrial, rock and techno.
