In 1983, Pankow released their debut album "Gea" which was met with critical acclaim and helped establish the band as one of the leading acts in the electronic music scene. They followed this with the album "Mein Herz Macht Bum" (1984), "Pankow" (1986) and "Kaltes Klares Wasser" (1988) which further solidified their place in the electronic music scene.
